Registry Week
In October 2014 100k Homes Burlington, with local community partners, conducted a registry week. Registry week was designed to survey and collect data of every individual living on the street or in shelters. We surveyed using the Vulnerability Index - Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (VI-SPDAT and F-VI-SPDAT); designed to calculate the vulnerability of each individual and family, and assess their housing needs. The personalized data is then used by the community as a shared common assessment tool, allowing for better communication and more effective resource allocation within the community.
Registry week, and more importantly the data collected, is an essential part of the housing process. This personalized data ensures that our community can get those who are in most need off the streets while providing a tool to track our progress. See the Registry week community report. |
