In our world of statistics, we can often fail to remember that our job is to serve the individual. We need to continue to put a face to our struggles, to our successes, and most certainly to our failures. Here at the 100k Homes campaign we strive to collect personalized information so that we know each and every one of our homeless neighbors. In doing so, we can better match individuals to appropriate housing solutions, but also remember that statistics are the amalgamation of individuals. There’s a humanizing aspect to getting to know the individuals. We take comfort in knowing the face of every person housed.
